Workers' Representative
An individual employee elected to represent workers' interests in smaller companies.
Definition
A Workers' Representative (delavski zaupnik) is an individual elected by employees in smaller companies (e.g., up to 20 employees in Slovenia) to fulfill similar functions to a Workers' Council. This representative acts as the primary point of contact for employee participation, exercising rights to information, consultation, and initiative on behalf of the workforce in enterprises where a full council is not mandated.
