Definition
Article 13 of the Egyptian Constitution commits the state to protecting worker rights, including building balanced work relationships, ensuring means for collective negotiations, protecting workers against work risks, guaranteeing professional security, safety, and health, and prohibiting arbitrary dismissal. Article 12 also establishes work as a right, duty, and honor guaranteed by the state.
