Wage Committee

The 'Wage Committee' is a tripartite body established under the Labour Protection Act B.E. 2541 (1998), comprising representatives from employers, employees, and the government. Its primary duty is to assess the cost of living, gather feedback from stakeholders, and propose new minimum wage rates to the Cabinet for approval. The committee's decisions, issued as Notifications, aim to ensure fair living standards for employees while considering economic realities and business capabilities.
