Supervisory Authority

An independent public authority established by a Member State pursuant to Article 51 of the GDPR, responsible for monitoring the application of the GDPR and related national data protection laws, such as the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
