Definition
The Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2560 (2017) extensively outlines the rights and liberties of the Thai people, ensuring that individuals enjoy the freedom to perform any act not prohibited or restricted by law, and are protected by the Constitution. These encompass a broad spectrum of entitlements, including the right to life and person, freedom from forced labor (Section 38), rights to privacy, dignity, reputation, and family, and the right to property. In the context of employment, these rights and liberties form the basis for fair labor standards, protection against exploitation, and the promotion of equitable working conditions.
