Remuneration (Wage)
All payments and benefits, in cash or in kind, paid by an employer to an employee for work performed.
Definition
In the context of the Ukraine Labor Code and the Law 'On Remuneration of Labor,' remuneration (or wage) refers to all forms of payment and benefits, whether in cash or in kind, that an employer provides to an employee in exchange for their labor. This includes basic salary, bonuses, allowances, and other forms of compensation. The state regulates remuneration by establishing minimum wage standards and other guarantees, and employers are obligated to pay wages regularly, at least twice a month, and not below the legally established minimum.
