Prohibited Labor
Work activities deemed unsuitable or harmful for female employees, especially during specific physiological periods.
Definition
The term 'Prohibited Labor' refers to a defined scope of work activities that employers are forbidden from assigning to female employees. This scope is detailed in an annex to the Special Rules and can be adjusted by relevant State Council departments based on economic and social development. It includes work with excessive physical intensity, underground mining operations, and specific tasks prohibited during menstruation, pregnancy, and lactation periods, aiming to safeguard female employees' health and well-being. Employers are explicitly required to inform female employees in writing about positions falling under this prohibited scope.
