Definition

An Equality Plan (Plan de Igualdad) is a structured set of measures, adopted in a company after a diagnostic assessment, aimed at achieving equal treatment and opportunities between women and men and eliminating discrimination based on sex. These plans must be negotiated with workers' representatives and registered. Initially mandatory for companies with 250 or more employees, this threshold was lowered to 50 or more employees through subsequent regulatory developments, with a phased implementation schedule.
