Definition
The Committee for the Promotion of Gender Equality (PGE Committee) is a strategic body established by the Gender Equality Act B.E. 2558 (2015), chaired by the Prime Minister. Its primary responsibilities include developing national policies, measures, and action plans to promote gender equality across all public and private sectors, providing policy recommendations to the Cabinet, and proposing improvements to relevant laws and regulations.
