Definition

A requirement under New York State Labor Law § 194-b, effective September 17, 2023, mandating that employers with four or more employees include a 'good faith' compensation range (minimum and maximum annual salary or hourly rate) in all advertisements for job, promotion, or transfer opportunities that will be performed in New York State or report to a New York-based supervisor or office.
