Pay Gap Assessment Plan

A mandatory plan submitted by employers to the Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) to assess and address identified gender pay discrepancies.

Definition

When the Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) identifies potential gender pay discrepancies based on employer-submitted data, the employer is required to develop and submit a 'Pay Gap Assessment Plan' within 120 working days. This plan must detail the assessment of the identified gaps, outline the objective criteria used for job evaluation, propose corrective measures to eliminate unjustified differences, and establish a timeline (typically one year) for implementation. The employer must subsequently report the results of the plan's implementation to ACT, demonstrating compliance and correction of disparities.
