Pay Assessment
A detailed analysis required when an unjustified gender pay gap of 5% or more is identified, aimed at uncovering causes and proposing corrective measures.
Definition
If an employer's gender pay gap report reveals an unjustified difference of at least 5% in average remuneration between men and women within a specific work category, and this cannot be remedied within six months, the employer is mandated to conduct a comprehensive pay assessment. This involves a thorough investigation into the root causes of the disparity, the identification of specific remedial actions, and a discussion of these findings and proposed measures with employee representatives or trade unions.
