Ordinary Working Hours (Ordinarie arbetstid) refers to the standard working time that, according to Section 5 of the Arbetstidslagen, generally must not exceed 40 hours per week. This limit can be averaged over a period of up to four weeks if necessitated by the nature of the work or other working conditions. It serves as the baseline for calculating other forms of working time, such as overtime.
