Definition
The Ombudsperson for Gender Equality (Pravobranitelj/ica za ravnopravnost spolova) is an independent body appointed by the Croatian Parliament to combat discrimination in the area of gender equality, receive complaints, assist complainants, conduct investigations, and report annually to the Parliament on the state of gender equality.
