Management Bodies (Instances Dirigeantes)
Committees and groups responsible for the strategic and operational management of a company, targeted by gender representation quotas.
Definition
Under the Loi Rixain, 'management bodies' refer to the highest decision-making and executive committees within large companies, such as executive committees (Comités Exécutifs or Comex) and management committees (Comités de Direction or Codir). These bodies are responsible for the operational and strategic direction of the enterprise. The law mandates specific quotas for gender-balanced representation within these bodies to accelerate women's access to top leadership roles, aiming for 30% by 2026 and 40% by 2029.
