Definition
Labor inspection refers to the activity carried out by designated government officials, primarily under the Ministry of Manpower, to monitor and enforce compliance with the Manpower Law and its implementing regulations. This includes conducting workplace inspections, investigating complaints, ensuring adherence to wage standards, non-discrimination principles, and occupational safety and health, and initiating enforcement actions when violations are found.
