An internal body within enterprises (with >15 employees) for resolving individual labor disputes.

Definition

As stipulated by the Ukraine Labor Code, a Labor Disputes Commission is an elected body established within enterprises or organizations employing more than 15 individuals. Its primary function is to serve as a first-instance mechanism for the resolution of individual labor disputes between employees and the employer. The commission's composition, election, and term are determined by the general assembly of the workforce. Employees have the right to appeal to this commission before potentially escalating their dispute to the courts.
