Labor Dispatch
An employment arrangement where workers are hired by one company (dispatching unit) and assigned to work for another (receiving unit).
Definition
Labor dispatch (劳务派遣) is a specific employment arrangement where a labor-dispatching unit (劳务派遣单位) formally employs workers under a labor contract and then dispatches these workers to a labor-receiving unit (用工单位) to perform work. The Labor Contract Law, particularly after its 2012 revision, includes detailed provisions to regulate this practice, aiming to protect the rights of dispatched workers, including their right to equal pay for equal work with the receiving unit's direct employees.
