The Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec - IPRS) is the independent public authority responsible for overseeing the application and enforcement of ZVOP-2 and the GDPR in Slovenia. The IPRS investigates complaints, conducts inspections, provides guidance, and has the power to impose administrative fines for infringements of data protection laws, acting as the primary guardian of personal data rights in the country.
