Gender-Segregated Wage Statistics
Annual reports prepared by employers detailing pay data broken down by gender for comparable job functions.
Definition
These are annual reports that employers with a minimum of 35 employees (and at least 10 of each gender in a specific job function) are required to prepare. The statistics disaggregate wage data by gender for groups of employees performing similar work, classified using the 6-digit DISCO code. Their purpose is to inform and consult with employees and their representatives about potential wage gaps, fostering internal transparency and dialogue on pay equity. [2, 5, 7]
