Definition
The 'Federal Law of State Workers' (Ley Federal de los Trabajadores al Servicio del Estado or LFTSSE) governs the labor relations for individuals employed by the Powers of the Union and other decentralized public entities in Mexico. This Decree also reforms and adds provisions to the LFTSSE, ensuring that the principles of equal pay for work of equal value and the eradication of the gender pay gap are applied comprehensively within the public sector, alongside the private sector.
