Under the Slovak Labour Code, 'equal work or work of equal value' is defined as work that exhibits the same or comparable complexity, responsibility, and urgency. It must be carried out in the same or comparable working conditions and yield the same or comparable capacity and results of work within an employment relationship for the same employer. This definition is crucial for assessing and ensuring non-discriminatory remuneration practices.
