Work deemed to have comparable worth, regardless of job title or type, for which equal pay is mandated.

Definition

This term refers to jobs that, despite potentially having different tasks or titles, are considered to have comparable inherent worth or value based on factors such as skill, effort, responsibility, and working conditions. Article 3 of the regulation mandates that employers must not discriminate in wages between male and female workers for such work.
