Definition

An equal pay survey, or lönekartläggning, is an annual requirement for employers with 10 or more employees in Sweden to analyze provisions and practices regarding pay and other terms of employment. Its purpose is to identify pay differences between women and men performing work that is considered equal or of equal value, assess whether these differences are related to gender, and plan measures to rectify any unjustified disparities within a three-year timeframe.
