The 'Equal Pay Registration Certificate' (EPRC) is a certification issued by the Illinois Department of Labor (IDOL) to private businesses with 100 or more employees in Illinois. Mandated by a 2021 amendment to the Illinois Equal Pay Act, it requires employers to submit detailed demographic and wage data, along with a certified statement affirming compliance with federal and state equal pay and anti-discrimination laws. Employers must apply for and renew the EPRC every two years, with individualized deadlines assigned by IDOL.
