Definition
A domestic worker is any person engaged in domestic work within a private household or households, whether on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis, and irrespective of their migratory status. This includes tasks such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, gardening, childcare, and care for the elderly or persons with disabilities, as well as drivers of privately owned vehicles.
