Daily Rest (Dygnsvila) refers to the minimum period of uninterrupted rest that an employee is entitled to within each 24-hour period. According to the Arbetstidslagen, this must be at least 11 consecutive hours and must include the hours between midnight and 5 AM. This provision is fundamental for ensuring adequate recovery and protecting employee health.
