Continuous dialogue (vuoropuhelu) refers to the ongoing, structured interaction mandated by the Act on Co-operation within Undertakings between an employer and employee representatives. Its purpose is to foster a proactive approach to workplace development, covering topics such as the company's financial situation, personnel structure, competence needs, and well-being at work. This dialogue aims to ensure timely information flow and enhance employee influence over decisions affecting their work and working conditions. For larger companies, it typically occurs at least quarterly.
