Arbeitsentgelt, encompassing wages, salaries, and all additional forms of remuneration, is explicitly covered under the employment and working conditions protected by the AGG. This means that any form of discrimination based on the protected characteristics (race, ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age, or sexual identity) in relation to pay is prohibited.
