Definition

These are measures implemented by designated employers to redress the disadvantages in employment experienced by designated groups (black people, women, and people with disabilities) to ensure their equitable representation in all occupational categories and levels in the workforce. Such measures include identifying and eliminating employment barriers, promoting diversity, and making reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities.
