The Advocate of the Principle of Equality (Zagovornik načela enakosti) is an independent state authority established by ZVarD. Its primary role is to prevent and eliminate discrimination, conduct research, issue reports, provide legal assistance, and propose measures to improve conditions for disadvantaged groups across both public and private sectors in Slovenia.
