Definition
Accesibilidad (Accessibility) refers to the measures adopted by public and private institutions to ensure that persons with disabilities have access, on equal terms with others, to the physical environment, transportation, information and communications (including information and communication systems and technologies), and other services and facilities open or provided to the public. This definition, added by Article 2 of Law N° 9207 on February 25, 2014, also explicitly includes the identification and elimination of existing barriers.
